                          Pianoforce and QRS Pianomation

Part of our business is regular pianos (Grands and Uprights). We tune and repair them. We will restring a tubby sounding bass section (or the whole piano) and even build and install a new bass bridge* if it is needed. With our custom woodworking and machining skills we can repair and make parts that are no longer available. We will replace worn out hammers, fix broken strings, regulate the action as well as the keyboard

The other part of our business includes repairing and rebuilding all types of mechanical musical instruments, especially antique pumper player pianos** from the early 1900s.

We also do installations of solenoid driven player systems such as Pianoforce (new on the market but better than any system out there to date) and QRS Pianomation System. Both of these systems are (stand alone) CD systems but they can be customized to work with your stereo system or, as a solo instrument, your computer (utilizing MIDI technology). These systems also can be installed with recording capabilities so you can record your performances. A customized MIDI System can be built for your player piano or mechanical musical instrument that uses electromagnets to open and close holes on the tracker bar the way the paper rolls do***.
